60,000 online customer reviews, compiled by Judge Service, presented the most common reasons for negative feedback from customers. Standards of valeting, mechanical preparation and the attitude of sales people make the top 3 of the list.
Buyers described rubbish left in vehicles, dirty windows and exterior as the most common reason for dissatisfaction when buying a car. Mechanical preparations come second, including empty fuel tank and worn tyres.
Loss of interest from sales people once money had been handed over and pushing unwanted extras made third on the list.
Also on the list were dissatisfaction with the explanation of paper work and the impression of being short-changed.
