Time for tech-savvy dealerships

Dealerships are expected to embrace emerging technologies, from hiring, customer interaction and servicing, and more.

Already in use are paper-free, smartphone appointment setting, mobile write-up and walk-around. But these aren’t nearly as used as they could be.

Telematics already report engine and other systems diagnostics straight to the service centre, saving time on customer waiting to know where the car needs fixing.

How will dealerships deliver service and products to consumers who are dynamic and mobile, without disrupting existing traditional dynamics in car sales and servicing?
