Another bumper September for new UK car sales
Latest figures from The Society for Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) have stated that there were a total of 403,136 new cars registered in the UK in September, the highest in five years.
This means that new car sales have been rising for 19 months in a row. The SMMT’s chief executive, Mike Hawes, said: “The UK market is reflecting growing economic confidence.”
There are many factors relating to why consumers are purchasing new cars today including:
- PPI payouts
- Excellent finance options
- Improving economic situation
